Thursday 16th January, 2020 from 9am to 5pm with short concert starting at 5pm.
This workshop is designed for students aged 15 to 18. Students will develop their acting techniques and learn useful skills for future auditions while participating in theatre activities and working in small groups on scripted scenes. Students will be introduced to script analysis, characterisation and improvisation, theatrical vs film acting techniques and audition preparation. Participants will then present a short concert for family and friends at pick up time.
The Workshop will be held at the Casey Drama Centre, Perth Modern School, 90 Roberts Rd, Subiaco.
All workshops are taught by one of Perth's most successful Musical Theatre professionals Ian Toyne who has extensive experience in professional Musical productions as well as Theatre, film and TV acting and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Ian has successfully designed and facilitated workshops Internationally. All staff hold current Working With Children Checks and Police Clearances.
