9am to 5pm each day with short concert starting at 5pm on Day 2.
Students will spend 2 days making new friends, playing theatre games, learning acting techniques and rehearsing scripted pieces to be performed on Day 2 at pick up time for family and friends.
We have a strong focus on team work and confidence building as well as keeping students engaged and igniting their curiosity about the performing arts. Scripts are age appropriate and students are encouraged to explore their imagination and creativity through improvisation and character building.
All workshops are taught by one of Perth's most successful Musical Theatre professionals Ian Toyne who has extensive experience in professional Theatre, film and TV and Musical Theatre and has over 10 years of teaching experience. All staff hold current Working With Children Checks and police clearances and are experienced performers.
The Workshops will be held in a dedicated theatre setting at the Casey Drama Centre, Perth Modern School, 90 Roberts Rd, Subiaco. This workshop is suitable for ages 8 to 15.
