July 10-14, 2023. Students will spend 5 days making new friends, playing fun games and working towards a Musical production to be staged at the Memorial Theatre in Hamilton Hill.
Students will learn routines to popular songs in a Musical Theatre style and perform them for family and friends on Day 5. PAPA scripts are specially written to include equal roles for all students so nobody misses out! We have a strong focus on team work and confidence building as well as keeping students engaged and igniting their curiosity about the performing arts.
10-13 July at Perth Academy of Performing Arts, 252 Cambridge Street, Wembley.
Please note there is no disabled access to the studio which is upstairs on Level 1.
Workshops will begin at 9am each day (drop off available from 8.30am) and end at 5pm.
14 July at Memorial Hall, 435 Carrington Street, Hamilton Hill.
Workshops will begin at 9am (drop off from 8.30am) and students will stay with us through the performance.
Doors open 5pm
Show Time 5.30pm
The performance will run for approximately 1.5 hours.
Tickets to the performance will be available for $25 each.
This workshop is suitable for students aged 8-16. It is not suitable for 7 year olds.
Places in this workshop are limited.
All workshops are developed and overseen by one of Perth's most successful Musical Theatre professionals Ian Toyne who has extensive experience in professional Musical productions as well as Theatre, film and TV acting and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Ian has successfully designed and facilitated youth workshops Internationally. All staff are experienced performers and hold current Working With Children Checks and are fully vaccinated.
