This workshop is filled with games and activities designed to strengthen teamwork, dancing, singing, and acting skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Participants will play ice-breaker games that relax and engage them, teamwork games and activities that bond them as a group, and tasks that stimulate their imaginations and sense of play.

They will learn a fully choreographed ensemble music theatre song in which all performers will have featured moments and a second ensemble music theatre song that focusses more on acting and singing.

They will also be encouraged to perform solo and/or small group spots in a short concert that will be presented to an invited audience at the conclusion of the workshop.

Please note

The workshops will begin at 9am (drop off available from 8.45am) and end at 5pm on Day 1 and 2. On Day 3 there will be a performance (approx 60 mins) starting at 5pm.

Please note there is no disabled access to the studio which is upstairs on Level 1.

This workshop is suitable for students aged 10 - 17yrs.

We have a strong focus on team work and confidence building as well as keeping students engaged and igniting their curiosity about the performing arts.

All workshops are devised by one of Perth's most successful Theatre professionals Ian Toyne who has extensive experience in professional Theatre, film and TV acting and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Ian has successfully designed and facilitated youth workshops Internationally. All staff are experienced performers and hold current Working With Children Checks and are fully vaccinated.
