This workshop is designed to allow participants to discover how much fun performing is in a safe and supportive environment.

Students will play ice-breaker games that quickly bond them as a group and will then play games and activities that relax and engage them. The workshop leader will then devise a short, narrated play from answers they give to questions they are asked. This play will be rehearsed, a few costume elements will be provided, and then the play will be presented to an invited audience at the conclusion of the workshop

The focus of this workshop is to allow participants to view performing as a fun, enjoyable and non-confronting activity

The workshops will begin at 9.30am and there will be a short performance (approx 15 mins) at 11.30am.

This workshop is suitable for students aged 4.5-7 in Pre-Primary to Year 2 

Places in this workshop are limited and all participants are expected to follow our COVID Safety Plan guidelines. We have a strong focus on team work and confidence building as well as keeping students engaged and igniting their curiosity about the performing arts.

All workshops are devised by one of Perth's most successful Theatre professionals Ian Toyne who has extensive experience in professional Theatre, film and TV acting and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Ian has successfully designed and facilitated youth workshops Internationally. All staff are experienced performers and hold current Working With Children Checks and are fully vaccinated.
